Lee Ann Anderson is a senior journalism major at the University of Florida with a concentration in investigative reporting and data journalism.
During her time at UF, she's completed an internship at The Hill in Washington, D.C. where she covered breaking political news and pursued enterprise stories ranging from media to healthcare to technology.  
She also completed a fellowship at Carnegie-Knight News21 based at Arizona State University where she covered immigration under a second Trump administration. Her work got picked up by the Associated Press, where it was published in over 60 publications across the country.
Lastly, she has written for Fresh Take Florida, an investigative and political news service housed at the University of Florida, and shot photography for WUFT, UF's PBS affiliate and for the Florida Gators.
